AlphGa NGO IT Services
Keep accounts, devices and networks working for day-to-day operations.
AlphGa supports NGOs and nonprofit organisations without a dedicated IT team, or those needing additional technical support, with Microsoft 365, computers, backups, networks, security and equipment at service sites.
Project work is scoped around the actual systems and locations involved, including setup, testing and handover.
Operations Index
Which IT issue is affecting your organisation's operations?
From staff accounts and devices to networks and equipment at service sites, each engagement can focus on the need having the greatest impact on your work.
01 People
Account, computer or software issues are getting in the way of work
When there are problems with Microsoft 365 sign-in, email, shared files, computers, software or network connectivity, we can focus on checking the affected accounts, devices and settings.
02 Data
Critical data is scattered, while accounts and access permissions are difficult to manage
We can review Microsoft 365 accounts, NAS, backups, firewalls and the asset inventory, then identify settings and devices that need updating.
03 Sites
A move, renovation or new service site needs network and cabling work
Plan Wi-Fi, LAN, equipment racks, CCTV, access control or related hardware installation around floor plans, seating, service spaces and equipment locations.
04 Workflows
Data organisation, internal collaboration or service administration is taking too much staff time
Start with one clearly defined task, including its users, data and completion criteria, to assess suitable digital tools and setup methods.
Day-to-Day IT & Accounts
Keep the accounts, devices and software your staff use every day working reliably.
If your organisation does not have a dedicated IT team, support can be provided by phone, remotely or on site as needed to check affected accounts, computers, software, email and network connectivity.
Microsoft 365 & Email
Check sign-in, sending and receiving email, commonly used Microsoft 365 features and account settings. Where licensing or administrative permissions are involved, available work is confirmed against the existing account information.
Computers, Software & User Support
Assist with checking desktop computers, laptops, commonly used software, virus alerts and general user issues, and record equipment that needs repair, replacement or a separate quotation.
Network Connectivity Issues
When staff cannot connect to the office network, shared devices or the internet, we can check the affected devices, network connections and related settings.
Server, NAS & Backup Checks
Check server, NAS and backup status using the organisation’s existing equipment. If backup arrangements need to change or equipment needs replacing, the related work will be specified in the quotation.
Network, Security & Backup
Organise network, access, backup and asset information.
Starting with the existing equipment and accounts, review the office network, firewall, Wi-Fi, backups and asset inventory, and include any required adjustments in the quotation.
Network & Firewall
Review the firewall, managed switch, Wi-Fi and internet connection, and assess which equipment and settings need updating based on the actual site and number of users.
VLAN & Guest Wi-Fi
Where staff, guest or designated-device networks need to be separated, VLANs, network segmentation and guest Wi-Fi can be planned. The final design depends on the capabilities of the existing equipment and site requirements.
Backup & Redundancy
Review server, NAS, cloud or other backup arrangements, identify the backup items that can currently be checked, and note any additional backup or redundancy work that requires separate setup.
Hardware/Software Inventory
Organise records for computers, network equipment and commonly used software so the organisation can see what is still in use and what needs updating or further review.
Service Sites & Equipment
Align network and equipment locations with the way each service space is actually used.
When adding or updating equipment in offices, activity rooms, reception areas or other service spaces, related IT and low-voltage work can be planned around floor plans, seating, intended use and site conditions.

Wi-Fi, LAN & Structured Cabling
Plan wireless networks, network points, fibre or structured cabling, and confirm the locations of access points, switches, equipment racks and power supplies.
Server Room & Cabinet
Arrange equipment racks, network equipment and cable routing based on equipment quantity, site constraints and ongoing maintenance needs.
CCTV, Access Control & Intercom
Include installation locations, network, power and on-site works in the scope. Where privacy or site rules apply, the organisation provides the relevant requirements.
Hardware & Software Supply
Business computers, servers, network equipment, peripherals and enterprise software can be supplied according to project requirements.
Digital Workflows
Start with one task that has clear users and completion criteria.
Select one task involving repetitive manual work, data organisation, internal collaboration or service administration. Define the users, existing data, required steps and completion criteria before assessing suitable AI or other digital tools.
01
Choose One Task
Focus on one clearly describable day-to-day task, such as organising repetitive data, routing internal documents or coordinating work across staff.
02
Identify Data & Users
Confirm who will use it, where the data comes from, which content requires access control, and whether the existing tools can support the work.
03
Configure & Test
If a suitable tool can complete the defined task, the quotation will specify the setup, testing and handover, with results checked against the agreed operating steps.
How We Work
Start with the work being affected, then define the equipment, systems and sites involved.
AlphGa reviews the accounts, equipment, networks and sites your organisation currently uses, then sets out the inspection, configuration, installation, testing and handover work in the quotation.
01
Share Your Current Setup
Provide details of the affected locations, staff, equipment or systems. For incidents, you can use WhatsApp or phone to explain which work cannot currently be carried out.
02
Define Scope & Responsibilities
The quotation sets out the work items, required equipment, responsibilities on both sides, testing and exclusions. Any need for a site inspection or coordination with partners is also noted.
03
Implement, Test & Handover
Carry out the configuration or works according to the accepted scope, verify the relevant equipment or operating steps on completion, and deliver the records or documents specified in the quotation.
Work Records
Keep clear records of the work performed, equipment and testing.
Each project quotation specifies the applicable work, equipment, testing and handover records.
01
Work Items & Responsibilities
List the equipment and systems to be inspected, configured, installed or replaced, together with the responsibilities of each party.
02
Equipment & Configuration Records
Organise hardware, software, network equipment or account configuration information as required for the work. Standard documents do not display passwords or sensitive data directly.
03
Test Records
After network, equipment or system configuration is complete, test and record the operating or connectivity items listed in the quotation.
04
Follow-Up Items
List any items that still require action by the organisation, manufacturer, service provider or other contractors.
Frequently Asked Questions
Questions organisations often ask before getting in touch
We do not have a dedicated IT person. Can we start with the most urgent issue?
Yes. After you provide details of the affected site, staff, equipment or system, AlphGa can review the available information and identify the work that needs checking or quotation. If services are currently affected, you can contact us first by WhatsApp or phone.
Can you support both our office and multiple service sites?
Networks, devices and site equipment can be reviewed location by location. When enquiring, provide the number of locations, their main uses, existing equipment and the work most affected. The quotation will specify the locations and work included.
Can you take over our existing Microsoft 365, network or backup systems?
We can first verify the existing administrator accounts, licences, equipment models, network information and supplier arrangements. Whether settings can be changed directly depends on whether the organisation has sufficient administrative access and whether the relevant products are still supported.
Does AlphGa offer fixed monthly support?
AlphGa provides managed IT support and monthly maintenance. The support model, number of users, service hours, and remote or on-site coverage are quoted according to the organisation’s needs and the latest service terms.
Will AI or digital tools process our organisation's sensitive data?
Whether a tool will access sensitive data must be reviewed for each workflow based on account permissions, data location and supplier terms. The organisation must provide its internal privacy and security requirements. Until that review is complete, beneficiary, member, donor or other sensitive data should not be entered directly into the tool.
Tell us which equipment, system or site is currently having the greatest impact on your organisation.
Submit your organisation name, contact details, service locations and main IT needs. AlphGa will contact you based on the information provided to determine whether remote checks, an on-site visit or a separate quotation is needed.
