IP Conflict Prevention
RG-ES200 detects IP conflicts between newly connected devices and existing cameras, and automatically handles common conflicts to prioritise connectivity for important devices and reduce disconnections caused by duplicate IP addresses.
DHCP Snooping / Rogue DHCP Protection
Automatically identifies abnormal or unauthorised DHCP servers to prevent devices from receiving incorrect gateway, subnet or IP settings. When used with a Reyee EG Router, it can also automatically block unauthorised DHCP servers.
Loop Prevention
When incorrect cabling creates a network loop, the switch can automatically identify and shut down the affected port to prevent the loop from spreading across the network. The port can resume operation after the issue is resolved.

Different models support PoE, PoE+ or PoE++. RG-ES207GS-HP provides 2 × PoE++ ports, 2 × PoE+ ports and a 120 W total PoE budget, making it suitable for devices such as PTZ cameras and high-power access points.

The series includes models with dedicated SFP / SFP+ uplinks. Selected RG-ES200 models also support PoE and data transmission over distances of up to 250 m, reducing the need for an additional local switch at remote camera locations. Depending on the model and configuration, ports in long-range mode may operate at full-duplex 10 Mbps.

When installed according to the manufacturer’s requirements, the Outdoor Switch combines PoE, IP65 protection and fibre uplinks in a single network node, reducing the need for some weatherproof enclosures and separate power accessories. This simplifies both on-site cabling and future inspections. Once connected to Ruijie Cloud, engineers can also remotely view device status and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

RG-ES200 Frequently Asked Questions
Before choosing a model, consider these practical questions about camera disconnections, PoE power and outdoor installation.
Check the network first before deciding whether to replace the camera. RG-ES200 and Ruijie Cloud can show camera, switch port, PoE, cable, IP, DHCP, VLAN, NVR and uplink status, helping narrow down the fault step by step.
RG-ES200 automatically handles common IP conflicts and shuts down affected ports when a network loop occurs. When used with a Reyee EG Router, it can also automatically block unauthorised DHCP servers. These functions address specific network issues; faults involving cabling, power, gateways, APs, NVRs, cameras or the ISP still require further investigation by engineers using the results from AI Diagnostics and Camera Troubleshooting.
You can first perform remote checks through Ruijie Cloud, PoE Watchdog or Camera Troubleshooting, then decide whether an on-site visit is required based on port status. RG-ES207GS-P supports Perpetual PoE, maintaining power to PoE ports during a switch restart, although network traffic may be briefly interrupted during the restart.
RG-ES207GS-AC-OD and RG-ES207GS-PI-OD both use IP65 outdoor enclosures. When installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions, an additional weatherproof box is generally not required for the switch itself. Cable entries, connectors, grounding and power components still need appropriate outdoor protection.
RG-ES207GS-PI-OD supports PoE In and 12 V DC input, making it suitable for locations without on-site AC power. If the upstream device provides sufficient PoE power, a single Ethernet cable can carry both data and power. With a suitable DC, battery or solar power design, it can also be used in solar-powered deployments. The PoE budget is up to 60 W, with actual available power depending on the input power.
